Brief Answer:
It generally increases blood pressure

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I like to inform you that steroids as a class retains the fluid in the body and thus causes increase of blood pressure. There is possibility that with use of prednisolone you may find some difficulty in maintaining the normal blood pressure due to retention of fluid in body.

However I must also inform you that since you are already on diuretics there is possibility that you may not encounter a significant problem in management of blood pressure.

It is important to monitor your blood pressure regularly during the use of prednisolone so any abnormality can be detected early and managed accordingly (Either by increasing diuretic or decreasing prednisolone).

I hope this answers you. Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
No, it does not make a difference.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Average of 140 systolic blood pressure can be considered fair control over the last 10 days. The kind of medications unlikely to make a point with prednisolone as this may be quite effective to control blood pressure while using prednisolone.

As stated above in case of poor control the dose of torsemide can be increased.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
Thanks.
