Brief Answer:
No need to worry for MND.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
First of all no need to worry for MND (motor neuron disease) as his blood reports and examination by doctor were normal.
MND is very rare. It's incidence is about 1 in 10000.
So don't be afraid.
You are also saying that his muscle mass is also normal, no loss of muscle mass.
This also suggests that he is not having any muscle disorder like MND.
So keep your mind at rest and don't think about MND, he is not having MND.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Yea everything normal. I’m just very afraid that he might get it how likely is this I have also been told the chances are 2 out of 100,000 I just don’t want him to get it. Like % wise how likely would you say his chances are for not getting it I’m sorry about this I’m just very paranoid person

Brief Answer:
Honestly speaking, in medicine there is nothing like 100%.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Ask a doctor forum.
Honestly speaking, in medicine, there is nothing like 100 %.
So no one can tell you 100% that he will not develop MND.
Even myself can not assure about me not getting MND in future.
Hope you are getting now.
There is nothing 100% sure about chances or incidence or anything in medicine.
But why you are afraid so much of MND in him?

Ano you can’t say 100% I’m just wanting some reassurance as to how rare it is and the likelihood beacuse someone I knew had it and it’s a horrible thing

Brief Answer:
At present he is not having MND 100%.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
I can not guarantee future.
But at present he is not having MND 100 %.
In future he may develop MND and incidence is 1 in 10000.
He may be the unlucky 1 who can get.
And honestly speaking, this possibility is same for me, you or any one.
Hope I am clear now.
