Question: Hi doctor

3 days ago I have realized a small circular bump on my penil skin shaft

I’m confused if it’s a pimple or a cyst or cancer.

It is not painful when I touch it but feels tender

What can this be ?

How can I exclude cancer ?

Brief Answer:
Topical and oral antibiotic

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It does not seem like cancer.
It could be an inflamed cyst or it seems most likely a furuncle, which is a skin and soft tissue infection. I suggest you apply an OTC topical antibiotic e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin 2% ointment, twice daily. Prescription based oral antibiotics like Cephalexin or Amoxicillin can also be tried.

Hope I have answered your query.
