Question: Hi, a small rash has appeared on the side of my left buttock. originally it was itchy and was a lot bigger but after applying E45 cream its has improved but not completely disappeared. I have had it for a week or two. The rash looks like tiny red bumps. Can you tell me what it is? is it benign? How long should it last? can you recommend any treatments? I have no other symptoms and I am otherwise fit and healthy. I am a 35 year old male. Photo attached. Thank you

I see the photo of the rash you attached and it seems like dermatitis possible contact dermatitis due to a substance that has made contact to your left buttock. It may have been caused by washing powder or other substances you may have been in contact with. You can use hydrocortisone cream to apply over it. Use antihistamines such Benadryl or citerizine. Check with your doctor for prescription.
