Please elaborate on the compalint.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

I have gone through the attached reports. The blood counts are within normal limits. The sonogram report shows an enlargement of the liver with a grade I fatty infiltration.

With this finding, the liver function should be assessed. A hepatologist or a gastroenterologist would be the ideal person to assess and plan proper management.

I would like to know when and how the pain started, if it is related to any physical activity, bowel / bladder movement etc. I would also like to know if there was an infection in the past and if any medication was being used for any condition prior to the present state.

The pain is most likely due to the enlarged liver. This is due to the stretching effect and can be relieved as the condition subsides.Analgesics have little effect.

Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
