Question: Hi. Should I have taken the morning after pill (it is now too late)? My boyfriend and I performed foreplay a few days ago. There was no PIV sex, and (I’m practically certain) that no semen went near my vagina. However, he did finger me and I’m slightly worried that there may have been precum on his fingers - though he is (like me) paranoid about pregnancy and generally very cautious about these things. A long while prior to ejaculation, his penis did (very) briefly touch my vagina too, though there was no penetration. Im probably being paranoid, but I am still a little worried because of precum and because I know it was around my time for ovulation. My period is due at the end of next week or early the week after. Help please.

Brief Answer:
Almost no chance of pregnancy in your case.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.

The chances of pregnancy are almost not there in your case.
I pill is only effective within 72hrs after sexual intercourse so as you have already passed that period there is almost no use of the pill to prevent pregnancy.

With your history, this type of sexual activity does not cause pregnancy usually, so you can wait and watch for your menses.

Hope you found this useful, feel free to ask for more information.
Good luck
Regards
