Question: Hi I have recent high blood pressure and also suffer with anxiety. my bp is usually normal. The high blood pressure is very high and recent. I have been dizzy and very hot recently and my eaes are ringing. The anxiety has caused me to grind my teeth also.

Anyway, before coming to this conclusion, I would recommended performing some tests to exclude other possible metabolic causes ( complete blood count, PCR, ESR, thyroid hormone levels, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes, cortisoland aldosterone plasma levels for adrenal gland dysfunction).

If all these tests result normal and your blood pressure values remain high despite anxiety medication, you should discuss with your doctor on the possibility of starting antihypertensive therapy.
