Brief Answer:
I would exclude any possible cardiac issues.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

I am glad to hear from you again on Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms are suggestive of costochondritis or fibromyalgia.

Costochondritis is a more likely diagnosis, considering the location of the pain.
Fibromyalgia would be associated to pain in other parts of the body as well.

Another argument in favor of costochondritis would be the modulation of the pain by deep breathing or body movements. Does pressure on the chest trigger the pain?

Gastritis or gastro-esophageal reflux could also mimic this clinical situation, especially if the pain is related to food intake.

As a cardiologist, I would exclude any possible cardiac issues, considering the description of the pain and your performed cardiac tests.

So, try to relax and don't worry about it as nothing serious seems to be going on.

Hope to have been helpful!

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

My opinion as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I don't think that your symptoms are suggestive of any cardiac disorders.

So, feel free to exercise normally, as nothing serious is going on.

Some warm local pack can help. If stretching or body movements trigger the pain, it does not mean it that it your heart, as this kind of pain is typical of a muscle issue or local inflammation (including costo).

So, try to relax and don't worry about it!

Wishing a nice weekend,

Dear XXXXXXX

This is typical of musculo-skeletal inflammation. Fibromyalgia can mimic this clinical situation too, as the pain is not just in one point.

Anyway, there is no reason to worry about your heart!

Hope you will find this information helpful!

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Your symptoms are not typical of any cardiac disorders.

Instead, they are indicative of a musculoskeletal issue.

So, there is no reason to panic about your heart.

I would just recommend trying ibuprofen three times daily and having some rest.

I am sure your situation is going to improve in the next days.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing all the best,
