Suggest Treatment For A Pus Filled Wart On The Finger

Question: Hi Doctor,

Please find the photos of my wife's finger.It appears that there is pus in it.
Checked with local doctor. She told it is a wort and needs Laser treatment + MMR vaccination. Please advice if the medical process is right.

Yes, it is a wart. Fulguration or laser vaporization are methods of choice for removal. So, she is right.

Medication will not help? Issue is she is in an important project and cannot take leave. Thats why dont want to operate.

Hi,

She may try a topical keratolytic e.g Salicylic acid and Lactic acid lotion (Duofilm liquid or Salactin paint). Apply it one every night and cover it with a bandaid after the liquid dries.
