Question: Hi Doctor,
My age is 34 yrs. I generally keep my XXXXXXX in left pocket of jeans or trouser. For past 2-3 months, I have noticed a little bit of numbness on left outer thigh.
Though, there is no issue as of now apart from a bit of numbness on left outer thigh when I compare the feeling of touch on my left and right outer thigh. But, I am worried if this is because of keeping XXXXXXX on left side and what should I do to get rid of this numbness. Please suggest.

I read your query and here is my advice.

I don't think that this numbness feeling is related to keeping phone in the left pocket.
I think the numbness may be related to compression on femoral cutaneous nerve which simply the skin surface with nerve endings.
Diabetes, obesity, increased weight, wearing a heavy belt may be the cause of it.

Probably you may need to loose weight, wear wider clothes and doing more physical activity.
