27 year old female with recent multiple episode of hemiplegic migraine.
Please suggest treatment, prognosis and future complications.

Thank you for posting your query.

Hemiplegic migraine manifests with reversible motor weakness affecting arm/leg associated with headache. It is uncommon, however, it responds well to treatment.

For acute headache episodes, NSAIDs such as naproxen or ibuprofen can be used. For prevention of headache episodes in future, verapamil or flunarizine tablets can be used.

Patients respond well to treatment.
