Question: Hi.
55 y/o male, no significant mefical hx, no hx uti or known prostate issues, seen in urgent care late last night c/o 36 hrs fever 102, urinary urgency, frequency, sensation incomplete bladder emptying . denied pain or burning on urination. No hx sexual intercourse for 2 weeks. Dx UTI on urinalysis. prescribed course of ciproflixacin. Getting married tomorrow !
Is it ok to have sex ? or does that need to wait ? please advise .

I read your query and here is my advice.
According to the symptoms you described and the urine analysis report you are suffering an acute urinary track infection.
It would be advisable if you do an uroculture to check which bacteria is causing the infection and which antibiotic works best for it.
Taking ciprofloxacine as your doctor advised you is a good treatment for it till the results of uroculture come out.
Also you can take lots of fluids and cranberry juice.
I don't think it is a good idea to have intercourse while you are having symptoms. There is a risk of transmitting the infection to your partner.
Please wait until all the symptoms are clear before doing intercourse.
