Question: Hi- I have read that there is supposed to be a clear mucus (almost looks like clear semen) that lines the inside the tip of the penis. I just want to confirm that this is not abnormal. Thank you! if so what is this the purpose of this clear mucus

Clear whitish fluid that resembles semen seen at the tip of the penis is a mucus (Thick watery fluid) secreted by mucus secreting glands located in urethra .This is a natural secretion that protects the delicate mucus membrane of urethra from atmosphere to avoid it getting dried and to prevent formation of fissures (Cracks) at the tip of penis .
