Question: Hello, two weeks ago I was very intoxicated and received oral sex from a stripper. When I woke up I freaked out that I caught something. A week after the oral sex I got tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Both test results came back negative. 14 days after the oral sex I had itching on the head of my penis. I'm uncircumcised and pulled back my foreskin. The head of the penis was covered with red bumps. Does herpes start with red bumps? It almost looks like balantis. Does herpes start looking like balantis? Is it easy to get herpes fr oral sex when no sores are noticeable on the female?

I would keep a possibility of candida/ yeast infection. Herpes simplex virus is also a possibility and there can be asymptomatic / subclinical shedding leading to transmission of infection. It may start with red bumps similar to candida balanitis and later on form blisters/ erosions.
