Question: Hello
My mum 78 just had hip and knee replacement surgeries so is on bed rest with only 4-5 times a day of sitting on a chair. She is 90 kgs and slightly overweight. In the area between the top of her legs and the groin area - the skin folds are red and raw. It’s difficult to air or sun these areas due to her surgeries. Can u suggest the best treatment please. Thank you

Brief Answer:
she can used anti fungal powders

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
These are the areas where there is lots of sweating and perspiration. So skin became red ad itchy. Best treatment is to keep it dry and for this i would suggest clotrimazole powder. It is basically antifungal powder. I would also recommend to wash these areas during bathing and apply moisteriser once in a week.
Thanks
