Hello. Im A Male, About 2 Weeks Ago My Girlfriend

Question: Hello. Im a male, about 2 weeks ago my girlfriend and i had sex and she used a butt plug on me. Not the first time, and not anything extreme or particularly rough (im not even sure this is correlated to the issue, but just to give a full picture).

Then, about a week ago after having sex (no anal play), noticed that my refractory period became extremely short, about a minute or so, which led me to 3 orgasms in a night. It seemed weird but i didn't give it too much thought. 2 days after this, I had a gym day. I also did a session of Kegel (pc muscle) exercises. Not the first time I've done them, but they may have been a bit "tougher" than usual, not really sure though.

That night i started to notice a tingling sensation ("pleasurable") as if i was still doing the exercises (or about to ejaculate? but this has not reached that level). This feeling has stuck with me for about 7 days now, and its of course starting to interfere with my everyday life. It disappears after i pee (for a while), after sex (for a while), or with an erection.

It has NOT interfered with my sex life however, since im NOT overly sensitive. It just a feeling that lingers during the day, not painful, just "pleasurable" but annoying. It also interferes with my gym workouts since muscle activity in that area (legs, buttocks, and abs) make me more aware of the sensation as if i had to have an orgasm or as if i was having sex, thankfully this doesn't seem to happen.

First things that went through my mind were UTI or STD, however i have visited an urgent care and they didn't find anything wrong with the urine test. And mentioned that STD is very unlikely because of the lack of other symptoms (usually pain or discharge), the fact that sex is always protected, and that it does not seem to fit any time frame between sexual encounters.

Im starting to think it may have something to do with the muscles in that area or some other cause. I just hope this isn't some type of permanent damage or something.

BTW the feeling seems to be gone in the mornings after i wake up or after a nap, but as soon as my day starts, i become more aware of it especially with clothes, underwear, and so on.

I hope you can provide some insight to this issue, Thank you!

Brief Answer:
It sounds perfectly harmless

Detailed Answer:
Hi Alexcar123123,

First of all, what you describe sounds perfectly harmless. Second, it is important to know exactly where you experience this sensation, as this may give a clue as to whether it is an isue of local nerve root compression (try googling "dermatomes"). It is difficult to say if the sexual acts have caused this; some degree of 'trauma' may lead to neuropraxia, that is a temprary state of nerve palsy, that subsides within days to weeks.
A neurologic examination would be needed to get a complete picture, but I am sure it will go away soon.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.

Hello! Thank you for the quick response, and i'm hoping it does disappear on its own. Like i mentioned, it is just uncomfortable to go through the day with a continuous feeling of "tingling".

Regarding location, it is difficult to pinpoint exactly. Certainly not "external" since no specific spots cause this sensation, my best description is that is located internally close to the root of the penis along the urethra, maybe close to the prostate?. It may be helpful to say that opening and closing my legs (restless leg movements) (similar fashion as the workout machine that some use to exercise inner thighs) seems to stimulate this area.

Thank you!

Brief Answer:
It should definitely disappear on its own

Detailed Answer:
Hi again Alexcar123123,

It should definitely disappear on its own, as it seems to have been caused by the butt plug.

All the best.
