Question: Hello, I have a issue with my legs. I can't seem to get any answers, even with multiple test done. Still no help. I have times where my leg. Left or right never both at the same time. Seem to have odd pain where my skin, feels very sensitive. Almost like it's been burnt. And the pain spreads into my buttocks. Sometimes running down my leg into my feet. The leg is so sensitive at times. It feels painful when something as materials touch the skin. I know it has something to do with my nerves. But I had test done. And no results. Please help!!!

Brief Answer:
Complex regional pain syndrome to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, in your case, complex regional pain syndrome should be considered as a possible diagnosis.

This type of condition may be linked to even minor traumatic events.

Besides tests that you had already, other specific tests such as tests that evaluate the function of the sympathetic nervous system (thermography, measurement of the amount of sweat on both limbs, etc.) are necessary.

Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
