Question: Hello, I feel like people are always making inaccurate assumptions or judgements about me. Like in the hospitals I've been in, I would stay in my room and everyone thought I was sleeping when really I was in my room thinking. Or when I go out to eat at a restaurant and they mess up my order, people will assume that it was my fault when it wasn't. Or sometimes I take uber because I don't drive on the interstate and people assume I don't have a car but I do have a car. Or people won't know I care what other people think of me until I tell them so they are not making a correct assumption about me. These are just examples but I feel like on everything people make inaccurate assumptions about me. Please tell me why they do this.

Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but unfortunately it is human nature. people tend to build assumptions based on their imaginations not based on facts. They tend to believe that they understand how other people think or the reasons why people make a particular action. As wrong as it is, this is a very wide spread behavior.. I would recommend that get to ignore people’s assumptions and remind yourself that these assumptions do not shape who you are or what you think. I hope you find this helpful..
