Brief Answer:
A number of causes
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but this could be due to a number of causes. The most common of which at your age are vitamin b12 difficiency and vascular insufficiency due prolonged sitting.
I would recommend that you get vitamin b 12 supplements either daily tablets or weekly injection for one month. I would also recommend that you stand up and take few steps every 30 minutes of continuous sitting to avoid vascular supply stasis.
I hope you find this helpful.

Hello I am a 47 yr old women stand and walk most days for my job yesterday I was going up and down the stairs and by the evening I had an ache in my right lower leg between the ankle and below the calf wondering if I may have pulled something there is no redness no swelling no hot spot is there something I can do is the an overused muscle or stretched.
Brief Answer:
Venous congestion
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am. hello again.. since there is no redness or swelling and there is no history of trauma then this is probably due to venous congestion which occur as a result of prolonged standing. I would recommend that you elevate your leg at night over a pillow and try to reduce standing hours as possible. I hope you find this helpful
