Question: Hello Everyone,
I am due to have my second Pfizer shot tomorrow after a long wait since having COVID on 2/5/22. I was given my first dose on 1/12/22 and was supposed to have my second dose on 2/2/22 but I caught COVID so now I'm getting it 7 weeks later. Please any advice on what the side effect or expectations should be especially since I recently had the virus...... Is there anything I need to do in advance or directly afterwards?

Brief Answer:
There are no need to do smth in advance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through your query and understood your concern.

It is clear now that COVID-19 vaccines offer some degree of protection between doses.
But it’s definitely still possible to contract COVID-19 within this timeframe like in your case.

In case you get COVID-19 between your vaccine doses, it is recommended to delay your next dose at least 2 weeks ,until you’ve recovered from your illness.

After the covid infection, you have greater increase in antibodies (SARS-COV2 IgG antibodies ) that broadly neutralize the virus.

There is no need to do something in advance of second vaccine and no serious side effects are expected since in have recently been in contact with the virus.

Don't worry ,now SARS-CoV2 can not be harmful for you.

Hope i have answered to your question.

Wish yu good health.

Brief Answer:
COVID-19 vaccine is important.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
I appologise for the late reply.

All the dosis of COVID-19 vaccine are important because the virus is still around.
For this reason it is important to have a strong immune response in you contract Covid-19 in the future.

Hope i have clarified your doubts.
Wish you all the best.
