Brief Answer:
it may take a few days...

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
I've checked the attached image...

Well, firstly, you need to remove the ornament and keep the area clean and dry...apply some Betadine/Neosporin ointment over the wound twice daily for the next 3-4 days and observe...

It should get healed by this within a few days more...but in case, there's any further increase of redness, fever, pus formation around the area you need to take the baby to the Pediatrician for a check-up, antibiotics therapy may also be needed in that case...

Take Care
Kind Regards
