Question: Hello Doctor,
My daughter is 7 years old, she has swelling in corners of the eyelid (i've attached pic), and also redness int he eyes, she complains of itching and when she itches the redness increases along with the swelling, this has been there since a week and the swelling does has not come down. This infection was present a couple of weeks back as well along with fever and when we had consulted a doctor he had given antibiotics syrup and Toba eye drops, it reduced but its has increased again now. Her fever and all other things are normal now except for the swelling in the eyes with redness and itching.
Please advice.

Brief Answer:
Suggests allergic conjunctivitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to AAD service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern

I guess there is no yellowish/purulent discharge.

After going through history and seeing pictures, this seems like an allergic conjunctivitis.
You can give her and antihistamine and eye lubricant.

Give Sy Laveta-M(LEVOCETIRIZINE 2.5MG + MONTELUKAST 4MG) 5ml at bed time.
Apply TAER DROPS(carboxy methyl cellulose) eye drops 2 drops evrey 4 hours

Continue this for 1 week, and hopefully this will settle down.

Meanwhile, avoid exposure to dust/smoke/talcum powder. Avoid using eye liner too.

If not getting better by 5-7 days, we may need a short course of local steroids. Kindly get back to me then

I hope this answer will help
Take care
