Brief Answer:
"Silent" stones
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for uploading the reports.
You are having "silent" gallstones.
The uneasiness on the left side is not due to the gallstones.
The following may be done -
1. Take low fat diet
2. Reduce weight if obese
3. Check your blood glucose and cholesterol levels if not done already. If found to be abnormal, they have to be treated.
These steps prevent the formation of more stones.
For the existing stones, the only definitive treatment is removal of gallbladder.
But you do not need surgery now as the stones are "silent" now.
If you get pain in the right upper abdomen and if the scan shows thickened gallbladder wall with fluid around it, then you may have to get the gallbladder removed.
