Hello again,
Thanks for writing back,
Sorry for the inadvertent delay in writing back,

A part of your symptoms does suggest a gastric problem. I would suggest you to do the following:
- Take NEXIUM 40mg twice daily, half an hour before food, for 2 weeks.
- Avoid having heavy food late at night. Always have your dinner 2 hrs before going to sleep.
- Avoid alcohol and soda. Carbonated drinks can aggravate gastritis.
- Consume more of fruits and vegetables. Include more fibre.

If your lower back doesn't resolve in a few days time, it would be better if you could consult with a general physician, for physical examination and further management.

I hope this helps,

Please feel free to discuss further,

Regards

Hi again,
Thanks for replying back,

It is good to know that you take good care of your health. But since you have an existing gastric issue, it is recommended that you avoid alcohol and other carbonated drinks, as it can lead to development of peptic ulcers, irritation of stomach lining and inflammation.

Occasional drinking or social drinking once in a while is considered good. It would be good to avoid regular drinking in the weekends.

I hope this helps,

Let me know if I can assist you further,

Regards
