Had Sex With A Girl Who’s On Birth Control Back

Question: Had sex with a girl who’s on birth control back on May 17, however she has not been good taking her pills, missed a few, and we got plan B that day. She got her period the next day May 18 so all was good. Fast forward to May 30, we had sex in the early morning multiple times and I finished inside her. She said she had been taking her birth control everyday since then. However, it was all the placebo pills and 5 active pills. Every website says you’re only protected from pregnancy if you take the active pills for 7 straight days so that has me freaking out. We got plan B again right when CVS opened in the morning and she took it. It was in her fertile time though according to many websites and ovulation date varied from around May 31-June 3amd I don’t know how accurate that is or if she did May 30, so that also has me scared. She hasn’t gotten her period yet and she was supposed to today and I’m freaking out. She said she’s felt the cramps she normally does this week but she spotted a little yesterday and that freaked me out. However, she spotted last time right before her period. What are the chances she’s pregnant and how protected were we during sex I’m freaking out so much. Also could plan B have affected her period. Thank you

The chances are very low in your case

I have gone through your history in detail and understand your concern.

The chances of pregnancy are almost not there in your case.

As she had I pill on time and she took birth control pills also the chances are further decreased.
Yes, I pill ( plan b) may cause menstrual irregularities and can delay her menses.

Thank you,

So even if she only took the placebo pills all 7 days and then active pills 5 days in a row for the first week of the next cycle and it was around her fertile period she’s still somewhat protected and the Plan B should work?

Yes, there is almost no chance of pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Yes, as you are already on the pill and took plan b on time there is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case.

Usually 7 days active pills are important to take to prevent pregnancy but as she had plus B, it will help in your case.

Good luck
