Brief Answer:
Very likely you are fine, but need to confirm the bleeding has stopped is s

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Bleeding is a possible side effect after prostate therapy and it is important to let your doctor know when you have it. It is very likely it was a self limited episode because the bleeding has already stopped and you have no more clots with urine but this is something to be confirmed with a urinalysis because some amount of bleeding is not noticed in urine.
If you are using blood thinners for any other conditions this might be a possible reason for the bleeding and you should let the doctor know immediately.

So to conclude:
- very likely the episode has stopped and there is nothing to worry but is safer to confirm this
- you will need to let your doctor know of the episode and he might order a urinalysis to confirm the bleeding has stopped, a CBC to rule out that you have not developed anemia and probably he will also order some coagulation tests to make sure your coagulation system is OK.
- the use of blood thinners should also be a reason to let your doctor know
- if you see blood in urine again please see a doctor urgently

I hope this answers to your query but please feel free to let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
