What Causes Severe Pain Around A Lump In The Abdomen After Several Abdominal Surgeries?

default
Posted on Tue, 23 Jan 2024
Question: Had 28 abdominal surgeries everything from removing scar tissue radical hysterectomy..I don’t know what kind of mesh was used either time...I will try to upload pictures for you. Remember I’m not a big woman not a small one either but never had a tummy. And after this surgery I was pleased with the outcome but it was shortly loved when this lump came up. Not only s it grotesque but it is more painful then what the pain was before surgery

Brief Answer:
You should consult your Surgeon.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I saw the pics.
The swelling looks like an Inflammatory one.
Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue whether any collection
is present or not.
If collection is due to Pus,then it can be drained.
Please consult your Surgeon and proceed further.
Till then, please take Anti inflammatory tablet.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery.
Regards
