Brief Answer:
Stress management is key

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

First of all I like to inform you that the dose of Palido is appropriate for your age and diagnosed condition. Since there are no active symptoms related to schizophrenia I feel the dose does not need any change. However I feel the regular monitoring recommended with use of antipsychotics is needed as it is essential to monitor the blood parameters every three to six months.

In regard to feeling stressed due to household chores and work related to young kid I feel there is need to manage the stress appropriately. Everything should not be treated by medications and many of the problems can be dealt by simple changes in lifestyle.

I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.

yes i have few more questions. The use of antipsychotics is ok but i don't feel good with palido anymore. I have been taking since 2010 and it shoots up the paliperidine levels in my blood also. ALso, i don't feel completely normal after taking these drugs and i feel kind of stoned in my head and not able to think clearly with these medication. I don't feel normal at all.
Could these be stopped or replaced by some other mild drugs.

Thanks in advance!

Brief Answer:
Aripiprazole have near normal experience

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

It is true that there is blunting of emotions on the use of antipsychotics including Paliperidone. There are two options in this regard. The first is to lower the dose of palido to 2 mg per day. This can be done only after your psychiatrist is convinced with the fact that low dose of Palido is sufficient to tackle the symptoms.

The second option is to use some other antipsychotics. Although every antipsychotics have their merits and demerits I feel aripiprazole is one of the medicine with least blunting of emotions.

I hope this helps you further.
Thanks and regards.
