    Got teeth cleaned and have dry mouth. Related?

Question: Can stress cause dry mouth were it seems like you need to drink water alot? And i just got my teeth clean and the dentist said he didnt see anything wrong tongu

Dryness of mouth occurs due to less intake of water.
Oral ulceration can occur due to dryness of mouth.
If water intake is sufficient, the dryness can be due to some disease process.
Autoimmune disease- Sjogrens disease can lead to dryness of mouth.
You need to consult your physician for clinical examination, relevant investigations and hence treatment.

I just seen the dentist and had my teeth clean and he said everything look good. But i have be stress for the last week.

Stress has to be managed.
For immediate management of stress, anti-anxiety drugs may be required.
For this you will have to consult a psychiatrist.
Stress may be associated with somatic features. Dryness of mouth may be one of the somatic features.
Long term stress requires some life style management.
Maintain good physical health by taking regular exercise and good diet.
Physical activity is a very effective stress buster.
Aerobic exercises relieve lot of stress.
A balanced diet- good breakfast and light dinner. Include lot of water and lot fiber in diet.
make a good social circle.
Engage your self in some hobby like music, gardening, etc.
Make a good bonding with your family.
All these factors will help you to develop good mental health.
Stress and other mental ailments will not trouble you if you follow the above mentioned activities.
