For The Past Day I Have Been Experiencing Rectal Pressure
Question: For the past day I have been experiencing rectal pressure along with itching and a burning sensation. What could be the cause and what are some home remedies for relief?

Very likely it could be due to Hemorrhoid or A fissure in rectum.
A digital rectal examination should be done along with proctoscopic examination to see the grade of problem.
However some home remedies that can be tried are-
1)Sitting in XXXXXXX warm water with Epsom salt two times a day.
2)Drinking lots and lots of water to avoid constipation.
3)Taking lots of psyllium husk(a natural laxative) to keep stools soft and easy to pass.

Is it ok to try over counter treatment along with above for a week or so before going to dr. I am in between health insurance and can not afford to pay in full
