Brief Answer:
Kindly refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello There,
I can understand your concern.

After going through your medical query, I would like to inform you that palpitations can normally happen because of dehydration, anxiety, caffeine overuse, gastritis, smoking, etc.

Your symptoms do not typically look like coronary artery disease (blocked artery) but it is recommended for you to get an ECG and a Holter Analysis (ambulatory ECG) for 48 hours done to rule out any underlying transient cardiac arrhythmia.

Kind Regards
Dr. Bhanu Partap

Hello again,

Once in awhile palpitations are common in young adults and this doesn’t require any evaluation until unless it causes dizziness or syncope.

Brief Answer:
Just maintain healthy lifestyle

As you said that you just had single palpitation in couple of months which make it insignificant and doesn’t require any special precautions. However just keep maintaining healthy lifestyle habits and you will be alright.

Thanks
