default
Posted on Wed, 4 Dec 2019
Question: Earlier today I experienced sudden nausea, then vomitting following a meal. My heart rate elevated and I then had shortness of breath. These symptoms went away after about 10 or 15 minutes. I have had elevated anxitey since this all happened. Sunday this also happened in the form of a migrane, followed by nausea. Both times I drank coffee on an empty stomach and the symptoms follower a few hours later. My cholesterol and blood sugar are normal according to blood work taken this week (attached). Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Never drink coffee on an empty stomach

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question, checked the reports...
I understand your concerns...

Please note, you should never drink coffee on an empty stomach as this leads to gastric irritation and increase gastric acidity leading to nausea and vomiting. It also increases cortisol level in the blood leading to increased heart rate and palpitations.

In addition, you need to cut on the fatty intake and increase the fiber content in your diet to decrease cholesterol levels in your blood. Also, you need to take phosphorus supplements.

I hope you find this helpful
