Brief Answer:
Suggests recurrence of prostate cancer, see Oncologist for treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for reaching out to me.

I have reviewed your PET CT fully. This scan suggests you have active areas of cancer localized in the prostate. This, though may be a disturbing finding, the good news is that there is no spread beyond the prostate. This offers the best chances of it being treated and cured fully as there are no metastatic foci. My recommendation is to follow up with your oncologist for further review and treatment. If radiotherapy and hormonal therapy are not options, surgery could be considered for complete cure. Also, you might have been having repeated PSA measures. I will like to know what the trend is as this often increases if there is cancer recurrence.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be. Until then, best wishes.
