Does Ingestion Of Excessive Norco 5/325 Cause Respiratory Distress?
Question: Hi I had surgery yesterday on my distal radius. I was given norco 5/325. I've been left alone and I've lost track of how many pills I have taken. I know they only prescribed 20. I'm just afraid of stopping breathing.

After the surgery you are not supposed to take more than 4 pills in 24 hours. In case the pain is uncontrollable then you can take maximum six tablets in a day. It is best to stop taking the pain killer now and take it on as and when required basis. Also you can count the pills that are left with you to have an idea of how much you have taken. You need to take more than 10 pills at a time to have a respiratory difficulty. So, no need to worry. Just relax and take rest.
