Doctor Appointment Scheduled For December 6th For A Urologist .

Question: Doctor appointment scheduled for December 6th for a urologist.

My right testicle is hanging lower than my left. They are normally the same length.

I have pain in my pelvis and testicle region (i went to urologist last December with this pain to get a battery of test and they all were clean. Prostatis was suspected. It eventually cleared)

The size of the testicles remain the same. Shape remains the same and no lumps or unusual feel. I checked and my girlfriend too. This began 2 days ago.

What could cause one testicle to drop lower than the other? What tests should i ask the urologist to run?

FYI - relatively healthy. Recently had strep throat and viral infection took amoxicillin. No other health issues in 2019

Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dw190q,

It sounds completely benign. A lower hanging testicle is no cause for concern, get an ultrasound, that will help elucidate the cause -if any.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.
