Question: Do I have a stomach ulcer?
I have a slight burning sensation in my stomach, and have been feeling hunger pains after meals even though i know i'm not hungry. I eat a banana before i go to sleep and yet, i feel hungry soon after. I feel gas, or trapped gas. This hunger pains feeling has been lingering for a week.
I have been stressed the last week so not sure if that is contributing.

Brief Answer:
Its stress related gastric acidity

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

From your description you have stress induced gastric acidity and some indigestion.

No, its not ulcer. Ulcer will have a bad pain.

Basically you drink some milk or take tums or digene syrup whenever you have acidity. Have well-cooked food at same times everyday. Drink cleaner water with low PPM. Do some exercise daily like walk, treadmill, etc. Avoid "acidic" foods like fermented foods, bread, burgers, pizza, spicy foods, beans, etc. Yoga and meditation help with the stress. "ILU" tummy massage is helpful with bloating. Fill your tummy with fruits and salad when hunger pain is there or you will end up gaining weight.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you doctor for your response.
My kids go back to school this week, so I'm hoping, this will ease the stress, I go back to exercising at the gym, and this weird hunger burning feeling goes away :)
