Since January this year i observed that my Fasting levels are slightly increasing though the pp levels are some what reasonable. I am here under giving the levels recoreded both of lab results and glycometer results. I am taking Istamet (sitagliptin 50 mg and Metofrmin 500 mg combination) after breakfast and glycephege 250 mg after dinner since 29/8/22. Earlier i used to take Metformin 500 mg twice a day.

Please advise me whether i have to increase the night dosage of glycephege from 250 to 500 mg?.Does this sitgliptin works well along with metformin?

Brief Answer:
Glyciphage 500

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query

I really appreciate for giving me well structured query.

Yes. It's glyciphage 500 after food in the night.

This will bring down the sugars in the morning for sure.

Sitagliptin with metformin is good and do continue the same.

Hope I answered your query

Wishing you good health

Bye for now

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Gliptin combination is much stronger compared to glyciphage.

Morning blood sugars can go low if you take gliptin in the night.

Please continue as before.
