I am sorry I was pretty vague before basically this is the event as it happened If i had went to toilet and my finger/hand came i to conract with the secretions discharge i did not wash my hands and with a few minutes changed my daughter nappy.. if there was some of discharge on hand finger and it came into contact with her genital area would it cause infection?

I always wash hands upon visit to toilet however if i forgot which I am certain I did if there was some of discharge/ secretions accidentally got onto hand would it be transferred from my Hand/finger to wipes i used to Clean my baby bottom/genital area as she had a dirty nappy thus cause infection?
Most of medical forums from other website say bacteria are fragile and die quickly on exposure to air and that they have Biological tendency tostick to fibres on paper/wet wipes clothing and that there would have to be LARGE AMOUNT of the bacteria/discharge transmitted to cause infection. Also it says infection even so from contaminated paper is not possible

i meant if i had BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS and made hand/finger came into contact with discharge and some of discharge remained on hand could nh daughter get infection if wipes i used to clean her during nappy change came into contact with secretions will she get infection? WOULD SHE HAVE TO BE EXPOSED TO LOT OF DISCHARGE TO BE CONTAMINATED WITH INFECTION?

Brief Answer:
No chance of transmission

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, first of all bacterial vaginosis is unlikely to occur in prepubertal girls because of the vaginal bacterial composition.
Secondly, transmission by fingers or wipes is not possible.
So, do not worry at all.

I have neen Really Stressed out my daughter is Almost 2 years old and I have been panicking thinking I infected her.Would you need to be Exposed to A LARGE AMOUNT in order dor her to be infected?

My BIGGEST concen is my daughter who is 2 year old would get infected frpm this incident. Are you sure it is Unlikely impossible for transmission in this way to cause infection? Also would there have to be LARGE amount transmitted to cause infection? I am sorry to bother you I am a verg worried Mother

is transmission unlikely if the wipes I used to clean her genital area inside after dirty nappy came into contact with smallamount of discharge from my hand ans discharge was on wipe when cleaning her

Is my daughter going to get infection in her Genital Area Tract from this wipe ?

Brief Answer:
No chance

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, please do not stress out.
Bacterial vaginosis occurs usually in sexually active females, whose vaginal flora is altered due to intercourse and friction.
So, your daughter will not contract it in any way.
