Can Colored Corn Starch Cause COPD?

Question: My daughters school is having a color run where thry throw colored corn starch on you ,in your face and on your clothes. I have non smokers copd and my dad died from pulmonary fibrosis,unknown cause. S0 you can understand why i worry about what my child breathes I didnt let her go last year and she is really wanting to go this year. I read from last year the paint got in peoples mouth and eyes, so you know it was breathed. Is this safe?????
