Question: I was just put on Brintellex can I have a glass of wine?

In general it is thought best to avoid the use of alcohol when using this medication because of concerns regarding possible increased risk of dizziness or drowsiness but in many persons, no interaction occurs. The risk of these symptoms can occur in theory but if you use very small amounts, infrequently then the chance of any symptoms is small.
