Question: I would like to take s-adenosylmethionine for osteoarithritis . I am of 76 years of age and
Is on actrapid (insulin) alendronic acid 70mg ,
Adcal d3 bd, mycophenolate 500mg bd, tacrolimus 1mg bd, levothyroxine 25mcg od, atorvastatin 10mg od, dustatseride 0.5mg od, bethanechol25mcg tds, fenofibrate 160mg od, diltiazem 120mg od, pantoprazole 20mg od, prednisilone 10mg
I would like a clinical pharmacologist and a rheumatologist to let me know if this supplement is safe to take and if it is good for osteoarithritis. Have you got experience of this supplement being used in renal transplant patients. I would prefer A USA or UK doctor to answer this as this supplement is widely available in those countries.
