Brief Answer:
Can be used for bacterial cause of loose motion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query. Norfloxacin antibiotic can be used for bacterial enteritis (bacterial cause of loose motion). It can be identified by a stool routine examination. Most loose motions are self limiting and only need rest and taking fluids and electrolytes. But if last longer and infection present then antibiotic can be given. It can be given for 5 days.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
