Brief Answer:
Keflex 500 mg may cause muscle soreness in legs

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Keflex is the brand name of the drug cephalexin. It is used to treat bacterial infections in different parts of the body. Muscle pain and soreness or joint pain can occur in 500 mg dose. Muscle pain can be in legs, buttocks or in back muscles. These are the rare side effects of Keflex and usually occur after initial days of treatment.

The muscle soreness or aches usually bilateral - on both legs. Continue taking Tylenol for pain and Keflex as prescribed by your doctor. These symptoms usually resolve on their own when the body adjusts to the medicine. If the pain or soreness progress you should stop Keflex and contact your doctor about alternative antibiotic with fewer side effects.

Please give me more information by answering the following questions:
How many times of Keflex are you taking a day?
What dose (mg) are you taking?
How many days have you been taking it?
Are you taking any other medicine?
Are your kidneys function well or have you had any problems with your kidneys in the past?
Do you feel weakness in you right leg?

Please, provide the information above so that I can guide you better. Also feel free to ask me if there is anything else you need to know.
Thank you.
