Posted on Mon, 29 Jun 2015
Question: I was dry humping a prostitue doggystyle, she had her g string and i had my boxer briefs, while in the act she reached back with one hand and I started to feel some penetration, the penetration just barely felt that it covered my penis head, I penetrated like 5 times before putting on my shorts, in reality I don't know if the penetration was her hand to get me more excited or she was trying to do me harm by moving her g string to the side and gliding my penis thru vagina , what is my hiv risk please help

Brief Answer:
Risk of HIV transmission is too low.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.

Welcome to health care magic.I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.
The chances of transmission of HIV by vaginal intercourse with HIV positive person is 1/200 to 1/1000.So the risk is too low.
As it is uncertain whether there was penetration, the risk is almost nil.
With the mode described, it can be considered as unprotected intercourse.
The risk is minimal with one exposure .She may be negative too.
If she is negative for HIV,you can allay fears totally. You can get her tested for HIV.
If in doubt or positive then you can get tested for HIV depending on time since exposure.

You can get back to me for any clarifications.
Thank you

Thanks for answering, I can't get her tested, she is a prostitute in another city so I wouldn't be able to find her, but let's assume that there was penetration and she was hiv positive, I know you gave me the odds of 1/200 to 1/1000, but even though I so called penetrated her only five times with my undewear on , is that enough penetration for the virus to transmit to me , I did not ejaculate , so it is possible ? Do the odds of her being a prostitute increase the chances of me being infected? What would be the odds of a high risk sex act? I'm just scared , cause 1/200 seems like i have a good chance of contracting hiv, should I be that worried , because if I did penetrated her wouldn't unprotected vaginal intercourse be considered a high risk act of hiv? That sex act is at the top off the list, please help

Brief Answer:
Risk of transmission of HIV is low.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
Sorry for the delay in answering due to technical issues.

Cloth is an effective barrier in preventing transmission of HIV.If you are sure of cloth (innerwear) acting as barrier, you can allay fears.
Otherwise it can be considered unprotected intercourse. The risk is 1/200 to 1/1000, if she is positive.Otherwise nil.
If you had contact with her secretions it is considered like unprotected intercourse irrespective of ejaculation.
The chances of she having STDS /HIV is higher if she is prostitute. The person has multiple partners and possibility of condom failure or unprotected intercourse is high with every act.
High risk sexual act does increases the possibility of transmission of STDs/HIV.

Unprotected intercourse is considered low risk compared to blood transfusion. The risk is minimal.Multiple Unprotected intercourse increases the risk.

Nevertheless you can get tested for HIV depending on time since exposure.

You can get back to me for any clarifications .
Thank you

Hi doctor, u said cloth is an effective barrier for hiv, my penis is 4 1/2 inches long, when we where dry humping doggystyle the so called penetration felt like it just covered my penis head, I don't have a big penis so how deep really can I penetrate her? Is the penetration I mention enough for hiv? How deep really can I penetrate with my underwear on? My concern is that she put her gstring to the side and glided my penis into her vagina. Cause I'm not 100 percent that it was her hand or her vagina that was the cause of the penetration. So with those details, am I really a risk for hiv? Let's assume that indeed it was her vagina and that she was hiv positive!
