Brief Answer:
You can take them together but there is some risk.

Detailed Answer:
Methocarbamol is fairly sedating. I looked up the interactions between fluoxetine and methocarbamol. The main concern is that together they can cause increased "central nervous system depression" meaning drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, decreased alertness, and dizziness. But they can be given together - it is not an absolute contraindication.

It is not definite that these side effects will happen, but there is this risk when combining the two medications, so don't drive or use machinery until you know how the two affect you. I imagine if you are having a bad muscle spasm you will be resting rather than driving around any way.

About adding any other sedating substances: Recommendations are that you should avoid or limit intake of alcohol while on these for the same reason. And if you are taking any other sedating medications, such as certain antihistamines, these can all compound the sedating risk to your brain and breathing, so I would advise limiting anything else that has sedating potential.

I hope this information was helpful. And that you are pain free soon.
