Brief Answer:
Vertigo &migraines caused due to primary infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

In individuals who are prone to migraine headaches or vertigo (symptom in which the individual experiences loss of balance, headaches, spinning sensation, etc.), any or most illnesses can result in an attack of the same (i.e. vertigo or migraine, or both).

In my opinion, the best option would be to visit your doctor and report the ineffectiveness of the antibiotic course which should have by now led to near conplete recovery.

The antibiotic used may not be the appropriate one due to various reasons like tolerance, improper dosage, inaccurate diagnosis, or simply an ineffective antibiotic to the condition you have.

Please re-visit your doctor to make sure the diagnosis is accurate, the suspected causative organism has been seen on culture and to make sure you receive another more effective antibiotic with the right dosage. You could also discuss the vertigo and migraine attacks with your treating doctor and request for medications for the same.

I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
