Can C. Difficile Infection Re-occur While Treating A Strep Bladder Infection?

Question: I just found out that I have a strep bladder infection.drput me on ampicillin 500 mg.the only problem I have is that I had c-dif years ago from an antibiotic .what can I do to,prevent this from happening again. Also I am traveling Tuesday to Florida is that going to be safe.i just don't want together worse while I am there.thank you

Antibiotics like ampicillin and clindamycin are associated with clostridium difficile. If it was ampicillin used previously that lead to c diff then it should definitely be avoided.

What exact organism was isolated on the urine culture. Kindly upload the culture results to advise an alternate antibiotic.
