Question: Since the recomended treatment for NALD and XXXXXXX are both weight loss and a plant based balanced diet, is their any benifit of distinguishing using a liver biopsy between the two aside from knowing the chances of progression to cirrohsis?

* There are distinctive advantages of liver biopsy in NALD condition with different
types of histology and outcome criteria.

* As type 1 with steatosis only is non progressive pattern, while
type 2 with steatosis and lobular inflammation is having benign course.

* Type 3 and 4 with advance histologic presentation as XXXXXXX bodies and others
indicate possible cirrhosis.

Still I would like to comment further if you can provide me all the details of lab
reports, ultrasound or other evaluation parameters as an attachment in follow up
discussion along with your weight, height, history of other systemic illness.
