Are There Any Negative Interactions Between Cipralex And Azithromycin?

Question: I have been on Cipralex (escitalopram) 20 mg for a few years now
I have to take azithromycin 250mg (4 pills) in one dose
I heard about the interactions and i've been told not to take my Cipralex at the same time
I am really scared could you give me more info plz

I read your question and i understand your concern. Azithromycin has no interaction with escitalopram so yes you can use both of them simultaneously. However the dose of azithromycin is 500 mg once then 250 mg daily for 4 days. Talk to your prescribing doctor for the correct dose and let them correct it for you.
