Question : I had a little vodka in some juice and a half glass of champagne earlier in the night. I wasn’t buzzed and I didn’t feel impaired at all. A couple hours later I took my Ambien to go to sleep like I do normally. Am I at risk of death?

Brief Answer:
No you are not at risk for death

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

No you are not at risk to die. The alcohol in your blood should be low by now. One glass of wine goes out of your system in 1.5-2 hours. One portion of other drinks too. So in 4 hours you should be clean from alcohol.
Taking Ambien with alcohol can exacerbate its normal side effects like dizziness, slower to concentrate, confusion, ect. If you feel goed then you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this is helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
